Notarial Services

Witnessing the execution of documents and verifying the authenticity of signatures
Notarising documents for use in buying or selling property abroad
Certifying passports and Powers of Attorney
Certifying marriage and birth certificates
Certifying examination certificates
Verifying translations from foreign documents to English and vice versa
Legalisation (that is validation) of the notaries signature and seal by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and/or by the embassy of the relevant country
The provision of Notarial copies
Notarising medical reports and police reports for use in connection with adoption

Probate & the Administration of Estates

Re-sealing of Grant of Probate or Letter of Representation issued in some countries to facilitate collection and distribution of assets in the UK
Non-contentious probate and administration of estates to individuals:
- application for Grant of Probate or Letter of Representation from the court following a person’s death
- collection and distribution of assets according to the will or rules of succession if the person died without a will, where the assets are within the UK and the matters are not contested.

Amelia Leung studied her first degree in Social Science in the

Chinese University of Hong Kong. She completed her

studies in law in Newcastle upon Tyne followed by two year

training in a solicitors firm. She qualified in 1992. She also

acquired the qualification of a Notary Public in 2010.
